That simple, yet very troubling, statistic is why Ortanic came to be. With over 1 million new cases of skin cancer being diagnosed in the U.S. each year, we could no longer sit by and watch people ignore their unhealthy practices. We couldn’t understand why so many new cases come about every year, even though people know how to prevent sun and UV damage. So we decided that we had to do something about it.

After doing a lot of research, we found that a majority of the people out there really didn’t know the facts about skin cancer and how to really prevent it. As a company, we felt the need to provide ALL of the facts, both good and bad, so people could educate themselves with every possible side to the story. Preventing skin cancer and helping those that are suffering from it is the reason why Ortanic donates 5% of everything we do towards skin cancer research. To us, good business starts with giving back.
